Case Grande (the main house) with its large living room and dining room, can accommodates groups of 10-20, and two additional break-out rooms create more private space for conversation or concentration. There are also 5 bedroom upsatris that can be rented for overnight guests, as well as our private studio, La Casita.
Our Gathering Barn is a great location for larger groups, all-hands meeting, and educational events. It has it’s own bathroom and kitchenette for your meal and catering needs.
Step outside to the Gardens & Gazebo to reinvigorate and breathe the fresh Sonoma air at the tables and seating areas scattered thoughtfully throughout.
And of course, the bounty of the area is brought to you through local caterers we love.
Casa Grande
Casa Grande is located at the entrance to Sonoma County’s wine and cheese country near Petaluma on Lakeville Hwy. This gorgeous 5 bedroom/ 5 bathroom home with lush California fields has ample space for groups and retreats. Located on an operating farm owned by Sue Conley and Nan Haynes, (one of the founders of Cowgirl Creamery), where you can arrange an artisanal cheese & honey class with Sue. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful stay, a working retreat, or an educational adventure, Casa Grande is the ideal home base.
La Casita
Located in southern Sonoma County’s wine country, La Casita at Silver Penny Farm is home to lush fields where sheep graze, honey bees buzz and life is slow. La Casita is a private wing of Casa Grande, an elegant farmhouse built in 1898 and is an ideal home base for 1-2 people. Silver Penny Farm is owned by local leaders in the organic dairy/artisan cheesemaking community, so there is always some excellent cheese and organic milk for our guests – along with a bottle of wine from our Petaluma Gap Appellation.
Gathering Barn
Our gathering barn is the perfect place to host your corporate meeting, retreat, educational event, or offsite. This seperate barn from Case Grande, can host a maximum of 20-35 guests seated and 40 guests for a reception style event. The Barn has its own seperate bathroom and kitchenette and optional catering services can be provided as part of your rental. The barn is well ventilated and has its own AC and heating, wifi, and monitor. Please contact us for pricing and to learn more!
